We use a small number of cookies and similar browser storage. This page explains what they do and how you can control them.
Strictly necessary
These are needed for the site to work, so they can't be switched off:
- Sign-in and security — keep you signed in and protect forms against misuse (the session and XSRF-TOKEN cookies).
- Language — remembers the language you chose (NEXT_LOCALE).
- Your cookie choice — remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so we don't ask on every page.
Preferences stored in your browser
To make the site easier to use, we keep a few things in your browser's storage: your sign-in details while you are signed in, your display currency, recent searches, recently viewed hotels, hotels you are comparing, your wishlist while you are signed out, and the guest details of a booking you are in the middle of (kept only until you close the tab). This information stays on your device, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Analytics (only with your consent)
If you accept analytics cookies, we may use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited, so we can improve it. These cookies (such as _ga) are never set unless you accept, and they are removed if you later reject them.
Third parties
- Payments are completed on the secure page of our payment provider, which may set its own cookies there to process the payment and prevent fraud.
- Sign in with Google: on our sign-in and registration pages, Google's sign-in service is loaded and may use its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy.
Changing your choice
You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but if you block strictly necessary cookies, signing in and booking won't work.
